Ability to export activity tasks in IMIS to Outlook Calendar

This is Arpita and I am hoping to create the functionality to export the activity tasks list in IMIS to an Outlook Calendar automatically.
Currently tasks are logged in IMIS but many are missed and / or not followed up due to them not being present in an individual's Outlook diary.
Is it possible to create this functionality from the View Activity Tasks tab reached via the Home page?

Can anybody please help me on this?

Export iMIS activities to Outlook

On January 8th, 2012 Bruce_Drury says:

We do this for event registration. You have to create an ical or vcal format file for the activity from the iMIS activity. On the web people display the file then save to Outlook. It may be possible to push these directly to Outlook.
