Add to Calendar in public view not working

We have tried all possible ways to make Add to calendar to work but it doesnot work at all. Does anyone worked on it and made it to work?   If yes please let us know about it.

This has worked before

I have set this up and confirmed that it does work, but there are a couple "gotchas" to keep in mind:

- Even though the iMIS documentation says to enter https://exchangeserver/exchange/userName in the URL, I don't believe this will actually work. When I got this working for a client, we just entered the Exchange server name and nothing else (e.g. "myexchangeserver")
- Make sure that the username/password you entered can actually access the mailbox through the browser (e.g. by browsing to https://myexchangserver/owa)
- Make sure the account you are using has the ability to create calendar items and invite people to an event in Outlook.
- If you are on an ASI Hosted environment, there was an issue last year where you couldn't use a remote Exchange server, so it wasn't possible to set this up in an ASI Hosted environment. However, this was subsequently rectified in iMIS 15.1.3.7542, so it shouldn't be an issue for you.

Let me know if that helps.

Cheers,
James

Hi James, Good to see

Hi James,

Good to see somehow has got it working. I'm having difficulties as well. I set it up as you suggested and now I get an error of

Invalid URI: The format of the URI could not be determined.

Any thoughts?

Just saw this now, sorry for

Just saw this now, sorry for the late response. If you are still having issues, can you send me a screenshot of your Exchange settings? I can compare it to the client I have setup. (jschwartz@burstingsilver.com).

Any update on this? Anyone

Any update on this? Anyone else have any luck implementing this? Have tried every combination I can think of and nothing works. Chalk up one more 'feature' that doesn't work out of the box.

15.2

Apparently it has been fixed in 15.2 as below, according to my SMR submission, but haven't tested it yet.

This issue has been tested and closed and will be available in the iMIS 15.2.0.2229 General Availability Production Release.

In addition, the documentation has been updated to reference the information discussed in this case.
