Documentation

Is there any documentation that would outline the steps for registering on the Web for an existing event by using the ibo for.net business objects (C#). Example:

1. Login using the following ibos (Contact, CStaff. etc.)
2. Retrieve the eventcode from querystring or session variable.
===== This is where the confusions begins=======
3. Cevent or CRegistration or CRegistrationLineItem or GetRegistrationLineItemByFuncCode???????

Dot Net 2.0 ObjectDataSource

I'm beginning a new project for event registration in imis 10.6 and would like to know if anyone has experience with the new ObjectDataSource in .net 2.0. If not, do we have any C# code that is used for event registration. Any bugs or gotcha's?

Thanks in advance for your help.
Activity-All tab shows event records before the event is closed?

We are running Imis 10.6. We have two related issues.

1. We are not closing events because are business requires the ability to get back into the event records. This creates a huge list of events that we must filter through to find the one we are lookinf for. Is there any way to close an event an reopen it?

2. The Activity-All tab reflect records from events that are not closed. How do they get there.

I'm just getting started with ibo.net for imis and would like instructions for downloading the ibo for .net and installing it for use with visual studio 2005. Any real samples would be great. I'm running on win xp and have access to both sql 2000 and 2005. Please let me know if this is the right place to start. My specialties are in Sql and classic asp and javascript.
