uploading text files from iMIS to 3rd party systems

Looking for some advice. I have a customer who needs to upload data from iMIS to a 3rd party custom database.

I have initially created the extracts for testing purposes in MSAccess. So here are my questions.

1 -- has anyone automated uploading TXT files through FTP and having the file name to include todays date.

2 - Can it be done from MSAccess or does it have to be rewritten in SQL?

Public View Dues Payment Process

I am looking for someone who has found a solution to the public view dues payment process.

Here is the background information:

Dues are billed to a company by using BT_ID on the members record. iMIS backshop works perfectly and the outstanding dues are all on the Company record..

In Public View the Dues billed to the company ( for the members) do not show up. The dues still show up on the members record and there is no way a company can pay their members dues.

IQA - SQL Expression FIeld

Well I have canvassed Tech Support and NiuG and cannot seem to get an answer or else no-one is using SQL Expressions with IQA reports.

Here is what I would like to do with an example:

1 -- Gender field has M or F

2 - Need to have a field Called Gender on my IQA which shows 2 if its an M and 1 if its an F

Surely that is something thats possible?

Stored Procedure examples for Public Events

I am trying to determine where in iMIS15 an organization might use the Stored Procedure in Registrant Class of Public View.

I wonder if anyone has any ideas on how I might do the following in Public Events:

1 -- Give a discount for Events pricing when more the 3 people register

2 -- The pricing is determined on whether or not the customers have purchased insurance. We have setup INSURED & NONINSURED registrant classes which works when the registgration is processed in-house. How would this get selected when a member registers in Public Events?

Public View Orders on Web (not allowing ordering)

I have submitted a tech support request and for some reason they are unable to determine why orders does not work for a specific customer.

Now I have a second customer where the public view does not allow you to order products. It shows you the details and products but does not allow you to see the QTY field or select the product. Its almost as if it does not see "SELL ON WEB" but rather to show on web.
