ok a number of NiUG members have suggested I start a Blog. where else to start a blog then this community.

I know most of you are wondering how Bruce and I treated each other at NiUG after our numerous heated debates involving T-SQL theories on the NiUG listserver.

Well to put it short and sweet, during GameWorks night a group of NiUG members were playing a popular video game racing game.

It was at this time that a professional pimple face video gamer stepped up and decided he was the best and had to prove it. Bruce and I were in the next car over, discussing the speed of the SQL optimizer and deciding how much overhead does a select * View actually has on a server when we noticed the NiUG members taking a beating. Bruce yelled "JB, get in the car it is go time" I thought it was weird that Bruce said that and I found it even weirder that he threw his glasses off only to replace them with a sun visor taken straight off Doc's face from Back to the Future.

Bruce and I continued to trade off and on controlling the car. We were in rhythm as if we were one. The pimple faced kid was drifting all over. 30 seconds later. it was over. Bruce simply looked at the pimple faced teenager who at this point wet his pants because of the lose and said "How 'bout them apples"

We were champions. Bruce picked up his glasses looked at me and smiled "umm I that was fun. Now where were we?"

Wait that story didn’t even answer the question did it?
