I see that through Navigation Designer just about any full user component can be made available for the casual users! Has anybody tried to make "Place a purchase" link actually work under the Contacts (this is all in left navigation area)? I'd like to see if we can enable our casual users to order products through this link. Although they can view the products, they cannot see a cart to place them in there. Any help is appreciated. Thanks
Wouldn't this violate licensing for the "Casual User"?
The "Casual User" was invented to allow executives and other "Casual users" access to the customer management areas to run reports, edit contact info, and other very basic features at a lower price than having to have "full user" rights to perform other tasks (like Event Registration and Orders processing).
It sounds like trying to add this and other features to Casual Users would violate the general reasons behind having the "Casual User" in the first place.
