Crystal Report error-exception source

Hi,

We've just update our iMIS database from 15.03 to 15.1.1.3 when I try to run membership due with customized crytal report invoice, I'm getting error?

Exception: Source=ASICrystalCtl Name=CrystAX_SetserchJoin Msg=File not found:\Program FIles\Common Files\Crystal Decisions\2.0\bin\crpe32.dll

This is a TechLet article from the 10.2 release:

Crystal Reports issues when iMIS is Installed on D:

When installing iMIS 10.2.25.01, the Crystal Reports runtime will be installed to C:\Program Files\Common Files\Crystal Decisions. iMIS may be redirected from its default location of C:\Program Files\iMIS10 to any location. iMIS looks for the \Program Files\Common Files... on the same drive where the iMIS libraries reside. If you redirect iMIS to D:\imis_SQL (or similar path on D:\), you will receive an error when starting up iMIS.

To resolve the issue, copy the C:\Program Files\Common Files\Crystal Decisions folder and all contents of the folder from the C: drive to the same folder structure on the D: drive.

 

Hi TKim, I have run accross

Hi TKim,

I have run accross this error in a few instances. One instance, the computer system just needed to be restarted and in the other instance was when the iMIS desktop client was intalled on a 64 bit O/S such as Vista 64 Bit or Windows 7 64 Bit. In the second instance, iMIS desktop client is not compatible with the 64 bit OS.

Yes, it was install location that caused error. It is fixed.
