Customising the task list in Opportunity / Process Manager

I have a request from a client to either modify the existing task list, or develop an additional one to accomodate the following functionality.

Tickboxes should be added to the task list so that tasks can be changed en masse as illustrated in the screen attached

  • In order for this to work, it should function the same as the existing task list, i.e. be driven from IQA queries. It should be possible to add as many queries as needed for the task list.
  • The drop down list for status should honour the values that are in the TaskItem business object so that it is consistent with the status values that a user would be presented with if they opened the task and completed it normally.
  • The user should have the ability to open up the task normally.
  • This should replace the exisiting task list so that users are not confused by the interface change.
  • This change should be upgradable to iMIS 15. If it is not possible to develop a solution for 10.6 that is compatable with i15, we should look at upgrading the client.

 Has anyone attemted anything similar?
