OK... Here goes. I followed the steps from the book and something's not adding up. We are changing around some authority groups in our site & I am having trouble getting new authority groups to appear as options in the Properties page. My memory of our site deployment is very fuzzy -- I think Beau told me about a step that is not in the documentation; but that could have been about something else, like UDFs or something.

So, is there a switch to flip that will get the new content authority groups to appear in the Properties page drop-down? If yes, where is it?

It's under the website properties page. You have to choose what member types or security groups that you want to use with the website.
