I recently took a nifty little application developed by Nick Sardev of ASI Canada that imports images to iMIS and enhanced it. This new Xtender application built in VB 6.0 as an Active-X plugin has a much more user-friendly interface that uses accesss keywords for security and has a more robust exception handling capability that informs the user of exceptions and errors. Essentially you just point it to a folder with JPG pictures that are named to match an iMIS ID. It will then upload all of the images to the appropriate record in iMIS. It uses very basic controls so no difficult installation is required. The attached document has both the installation and user guide with an image for the interface. I am willing to share the source code.
