iMIS15.2 on Windows XP SP3

Hi,

Has anyone tried installing / working iMIS15.2.5.XXXX on a Windows XP SP3 workstation in the production environment?

We are testing / planning to upgrade to iMIS15.2 and I'm after some responses and experiences. Grateful if you can share.

The system requirement doc - http://docs.imis.com/15.2.0/index.htm?turl=systemrequirements.htm quotes that Windows XP is not supported.

P.S. - 'we have ongoing trouble with exporting standard / custom crystal reports to pdf'

Kindly share your thoughts.

Kind Regards,

Vig

Server or desktop?

Are you talking about the iMIS desktop software, or the server software?

I haven't tried 15.2.5, but I have a VM image with XP Pro SP3 running 15.2.1 server with no problems.  The server software includes the iMIS desktop.

Overall, I would expect it to work.  It's just not something I would recommend if you didn't have to.

It's Desktop client. We do

It's Desktop client. We do have several clients running various versions of iMIS on our workstations (10.6, 15.1.3, 15.2.5) on VM images.

The VM images run on XP SP3. The 15.2.5 desktop client works fine on XP SP3 workstations, just wanted to confrm if anyone has trouble (small or big) to make sure before we upgrade all our clients (25+) to 15.2 in the coming months.

Thanks Bruce.
