Internet Explorer error using eContent Manager/Ektron

Occassionally, while using eContent Manager and Ektron, Internet Explorer will shut down. Has anyone have this problem and if so any ideas how to resolve it?

Yes - it is very problematic in my experience

We have been advised only to use IE 6.5 - but no matter what we do we get issues like you describe - it is unstable. If you do get any advise on this i'd love to know.

ASI Response to IE error

Here is some info I received from ASI:

"I would try and download the client install and do a reinstall, you should be able to find the client install in a clientinstall folder (AM/ewebeditpro/clientinstall) on the server just copy it over and run the install."

I haven't given this a try yet but when I do I will let you know if I continue to receive the error.
