Every year the Law Department issues a new License Agreement that will apply (within a year) to all users. The 2007 version has 13 major changes with four relevant to the Development Community. Here is an extract of the Change Notice Memo. A recycled joke follows.

All law suits for breach of warranty must be made within six months of the end of the warranty period. Because almost everyone is in the Software Update Plan, this means within six months of the end of the Plan Year when the problem arose. Note that if the problem was not fixed in the next update, then a new cause of action starts for the new version not substantially complying with its own specifications. |
