We're using iMIS Communities module (15.1 and 15.2)

Is there a known method, or are other users able to offer suggestions, on how to limit the amount of a forum topic to display?

We have a forum where users post topics of considerable length. As a result it becomes difficult for other users to scan the forum for new topics. They must 'Page Down' multiple times to find each post, or use the Search option, neither of which is user-friendly.

I know I can limit the number of posts that display per screen to, say, 4 or 10 posts per screen, but what I'd like is just to show the first 100 characters or so of each post, with a 'read more' option to expand the entire post.  Failing that, perhaps just display the subject of each post.

This iMIS Community does just that.
