Moving iParts on an existing page

We get requests from casual users (volunteers) to reorder the iParts on an existing page. What process allows this (drag & drop?) other than rebuilding the page?

I'm not sure what

I'm not sure what permissions are required, but we show how to do this as a Full User on one of our video tutorials at www.visualantidote.com . Check out Edit a Web Page Part I, at around 13 minute mark.

Editing Options for iPart locations

Thank you very much.

Your tutorials were excellent. I was editing directly on the page through the volunteer access and not from the content manager. It appears that the drag and drop function does not work in this mode. I submitted a request to the management office for access.

What platform did you use to create your tutorial? I use several including Camtasia and I found your content and style with the zoom function quite compelling.

Moving iParts on an existing page

This is a follow-up to some investigation regarding the drag and drop function.  It was determined that this function does not work with Google Chrome which is the platform of choice for its speed.  The drag and drop function requires Microsoft IE when doing page edits using the surf to edit portal.  I will install and test Firefox to determine if this browser platform is more forgiving.
