Online address verification

QAS, and its equivalents overseas, integrate with iMIS Desktop to support verification of addresses as they are being input or in batch.

Because there is a move to online signup and self service, some of our clients are asking about the feasibility of address verification built into the website for signup processes.

Has anyone implemented this at all?

US and Canada support

As much as I can see from WEB sonfig iMIS uses address verifcation service from avs.advsol.com/imis15

Which means address validation is not built in and it is SOA service.

So do you have a spec and(or) interface(s) defined which I can follow and create my own Address Validation Service?

I have customer in UK who needs it really really badly.
