Is there any formal documentation on the AsiMembershipProvider and AsiRoleProvider? I see some hit and miss troubleshooting in these posts but it would be nice to have some framework to start with.
iMIS Service Oriented Architecture
ValidateUser from AsiMembership Provider returns null reference
I have the iMIS AsiMembershipProvider to a Sharepoint site as the default membership provider and it creates users correctly (as long as I provide it with a valid providerKey for an existing iMIS contact). However, it crashes with a cryptic null; reference exception when trying to validate.
As a work around, I inherited the AsiMembershipProvider and overrode the "ValidateUser" method by redirecting to the iMIS SOA membership web service "ValidateUser". This works and I can now log in. However, I would rather not add this service to my system architecture if I can help it. Why would the web service work when the AsiMembershipProvider doesn't.
IQA Web Service
Having Don Robertson in town (Melbourne, Autralia) has already been beneficial and he's only been here for a few hours. One of the things we have been struggling with for a while now is how to use the IQA Web Service to call an IQA query with parameters and get a filtered result set as a response.
The key problem in the past has been trying to find information on how to pass the parameters into the query service, Don was able to set us straight, so here is the information you need.
Development Mode
Hi all,
I was wondering if there is an option to enable E-mail redirecting to a single account to prevent Customers in the database from receiving test E-mails?
Thanks.
A quick analysis of the new Google Social Graph API
When I saw the press release on the get Google Social Scene API I thought it sounded mildly interesting but not really compelling. Then I read this from a link on http://www.simplebits.com: http://bokardo.com/archives/why-im-excited-about-the-google-social-graph-api/. One of the annoying things about facebook, Myspace, linked-in, gmail, etc. is that all the contact/friend info is separate in each one other then facebook importing email contacts and the like.
Web Services for iMIS from Fisher Technology now released...
Long time iMIS devotee, first time blogger, so be patient....
Wanted to tell you all about the work we are doing on Web Services for iMIS. Originally we developed the toolkit to help out clients of ours that were implementing PHP/MySQL web sites and we saw this as the ideal way to provide integration from this platform to iMIS. Once we were further down the line, we started to realise the potential of SOA and have been expanding the toolkit ever since.
