The Control ID 'LoginUpdatePanel' requires a scriptmanager on the page error

Hi All

I have a client who was playing around with the master page file and now is getting this error. They are able to log into iMIS but get this error and they are unable use iMIS.

I have logged this issue with ASI (see below) but I have not been able to fix it. Have you seen this issue before? What is the best solution?

I am reluctant to change code, am I best of reinstalling imis 15.1.3.6699?

eCM Admin Portal is not working after ISP change

Hi,

We are having issue to login eCM admin portal after we switch to another ISP yesterday.  We have updated all the possible config files to new IP address from Web server and had also tried recycled application pools and rebuild permissions.  None seems to work.  I have sent ticket to tech support but I have not heard anything further.  Does anyone have similar situation and had found a resolution?  We are able to login iMIS desktop and website but just not eCM admin portal.

"about:" generated by Ektron Edtor in IE8

Hi,

We have found that Ektron Editor in eCM will add extra characters "about:" in all hyperlinks if we don't use full URL addresses.  Has anyone found a fix to resolve the issue when editing webpage in Ektron Editor in IE8?  This was working fine in IE7 but we just upgraded our browsers to IE8.  I have checked with ASI Tech Supoort and they suggested me to install the Ektron Editor from the client installer found under "AM\Admin\eWebEditPro30\clientinstall".  I did that but it still did not fix this issue.  I am wondering if anyone has the same experiences and has found a resolution.

You do not have permission to view this content: unhelpful error

When our client sets WCM content up that requires login, and is restricted to specific groups of users (roles and/or member types) using the access settings, and then link navigation items from the site map to that content, they want people to be directed to a login screen.  Instead, site visitors are directed to a generic (and unhelpful) screen with URL http://www.xxxclientname.org.au/WCM/Error.aspx?iErrorType=Asi.Security.A... and message: You do not have permission to view this content.  The message is preceded by the standard iMIS warning triangle with red text ERROR.

The given path's format is not supported error when publishing in WCM

I am trying to republish an entire WCM site after going live on the new domain. When doing so the following error is generated for every content record:

The given path's format is not supported  - system.security.util.stringexpressionset.canonicalizePath

Everything was publishing fine before we went live last week. HELP!

WCM Performance/Speed

Has anyone successfully implemented a WCM site that loads/performs quickly that is hosted on a web server (application is hosted on a different server)? If so, what is your secret?!?!?!?!?!

ECM Compatibility

We have a client who currently run a heavily customised ECM site on iMIS 15.0.3. They wish to upgrade to version 15.1.3, but don't wish to lose any of their ECM customisations. Is it possible to keep their 15.0.3 environment whilst still upgrading the database application to 15.1.3? Alternatively, can these customisations be safely applied after an upgrade? I'd be interested to see if anyone else has been through something similar.

Logging a User Into Public Views

I am looking for some code to log in a user into public views from a custom page within the public view site.

This is pretty easy, in that you should be able to use:

ValidateUser from the MembershipWebService.asmx Web Service, and be all set.

However, I have a bit of a twist.  I have an ID number and do not have the user's password.  I can get the record's username, but I have not way of knowing the password.

Anyone know of a method that will allow this process?

eCM Support

How long will eCM be supported for? considering WCM is out and there are no more enhancements being made to eCM?

Considering eSeries is still supported, so I would presume eCM would be supported for a while.

However, if it isn't then it would be wise to let the client know not to invest in any eCM customisations as they will have to be re-developed in the near future.

Also, it would be a good way to get clients to move to WCM.

Content and HTML content Images aren't appearing on site

I'm having another strange issue. I've got a DEV site and a TEST site. On the test site, I modified a template design successfully. I then moved the entire template design to the DEV site and images aren't appearing on the site when I'm logged in - content images and images within content HTML records. When i'm logged out, the content images are appearing as they should. Any suggestions?
