Do I need to have Donate Module/Fundraising module to use the Donation Creater iPart
Is there an iMIS resource file or DB table somewhere that lets you change labels of desktop screens? (Aside from those that are configurable in the System Tools windows)
I'm trying to change the Fundraising name "Campaign" to something else for a client.
When entering a pledge as an installment in the Funraising module, you're required to specify the payment frequency and # of years. Is there a way to make the installment perpetual / indefinite? Unfortunately the # of years field is mandatory on the gift entry form so I'm wondering if there's a configuration option somewhere.
I want to apply parameter for all receipts where I want to exclude any receipt which has a Campaign_code of "RD" under the Receipt-Main Dialog.
Has anyone done this and if so.
What is the search Criteria that I use.
Has anyone converted pdf files from Raiser's Edge to iMIS 15?
I have been told the pdf files are actually stored in the RE database.

We get about 40 application errors shown below every day from our customers in other countries. These seem to occur in pages we made using iSA (System Architect). One for donations and one for listing our products. I tried changing the globalization settings in the Web.config and in the page directive but nothing seems to help.
Our list of distribution codes is becoming rather unmanageable! Since we need a new distribtution code for every APPEAL, CAMPAIGN, FUND, GL Account Permutation.
How do you get rid of old distributions codes? For example I have distribution codes for appeals that ended several months ago - do you just delete them - as a database person this makes me nervous :-) How can I archive them?
I am not sure if this is fundraising or accounts recievable...
We often run into this situation.
A donor sends us a wire transfer of $500 - the bank they use charges a $12 fee - so in reality we received $488.
In acknowledging the donor according to the IRS I need to acknowledge their donation of $500 however if I enter $500 then that will hit the general ledger when the donation received was really $488.
I am new to the community as well as to iMIS - so I apoligize if what I am asking is (I hope) an easy question.
We are in the process of implementing the fundraising module - in creating donor notes is it possible to have the note date field default to the creation date and the Author default to the user entering the note?
Also when reviewing the notes - is it possible to sort the note by Note Date and Note Type?
In Rapid Gift Entry in 15.0 release our client wants the following - all have been submitted as requests for enhancements via SMR system, but we are seeking any workaround in the meantime.
1. Change the display results under 'Find a Contact' to include other fields such as address line 1, state/province and post code. We found that this is contained in the ContactFinder.aspx page. Any thoughts on adding fields to the display? What level of impact may we see on upgrade? Any way to make this a query like Opportunity Management uses for displays?
