Scrum - Elementary school style

I saw this poster at my son's elementary school and immediately thought, "They are teaching Scrum." Or maybe Scrum is something we all learned as kids and had to be reintroduced to it again as adults..

Number 1 may not be so Agile, but beyond that, I see planning and grooming in nubmers 2 and 3.  Number 4 is collaboration.

  1. Maybe not so Scrum, but most teams at ASI do this though a few get quite animated on occasion.
  2. Grooming, PBI creation
  3. Planning (brainstorming)
  4. Collaboration
  5. Sprinting to Definition-of-done.
  6. Retrospective

This also reminded me of Robert Fulghum's eassy "All I Really Need to Know I Learned in Kindergarten".
