WCM error logs

We are curerntly setting up a test WCM site. However, when we login and click System Setup and several other links on the WCM tab we get "An unexpected iMIS error has occurred. Please try your operation again; if you still receive an error, contact the system administrator. "

Is there somewhere these errors are being logged? This is a stand alone WCM site on a different server than the app server.

Select your preferred way to display the comments and click "Save settings" to activate your changes.

The WCM install does not

The WCM install does not contain the files needed to behave like an appserver. You should only be viewing the WCM site itself on the remote server, not the appserver site.

You can create/edit/publish content on the actual appserver and it will appear on the WCM server automatically.

For error logs, look in the server's Application event log.

iMIS 15 Error "An unexpected iMIS error has occurred. Please...

From any iMIS window, the left nav bar will disappear and is replaced with the following message:

"An unexpected iMIS error has occurred. Please try your operation again; if you still receive an error, contact the system administrator. "

iMIS becomes inoperable, thusly having to close and restart. This seems to be happening on only 1 desktop.

Is there a way to curb this error?
